- Gond Paintings
Deriving its name from the Gond tribe of Madhya Pradesh, the Gond Paintings have originated from and are a fort of this tribe. The late Jangar Singh Shyam and his family members are however the people responsible to aid in popularising the rich legacy of this art form.

- Pithora Paintings
Pithora Paintings primarily portray a marriage procession of a pithora & pithori, believed to be attended by gods and other beings.
Categorised as pre-historic cave paintings these brown shaded paintings use colours made from leaf extracts, vermilion, lime, lampblack and other natural extracts. The painting painted as four white pithora horses facing each other are treated as the stamp of fulfillment of one’s wishes.
